The Commodore's Prayer
Lord you know better than I do that I am growing old, unless you take me up with you. I pray not to become too locuacious a person, and above all, that I don´t acquire the disastrous costume of always giving my oppinions upon any matter and on any question.
Free me from the mania of being willing to organise everybody´s affairs; that I may not take a long time to refer countless details about things; give me wings to arrive to the conclusion.
